As an undocumented immigrant I know what it is to feel marginalized. I’ve struggled with the comments people make towards immigrants, one of them being Trumps statement, “You wouldn't believe how bad these people are. These aren't people. These are animals. And we're taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that's never happened before.” I’m uncertain of my future and fear I won’t pursue what I love doing. However, photography has allowed me to break down these barriers and  document the struggles, the pain and untold truth about homeless people in Anaheim. I hope one day we as a society can protect those who are neglected and discriminated.
